YEAR ONE OF THE FROZEN TURKEY 5K IS COMPLETE!
Congratulations to all the runners who braved the cold, windy weather and took part in the first annual Frozen Turkey 5k. Thank you for your support and know that your race entry fees are going to a great cause, the Northern Illinois Food Bank. We will post the total amount of money raised for the Food Bank as soon as possible. Happy Thanksgiving and we hope to see you in 2010!

With the Frozen Turkey 5k officially in the books, we want to thank all the participants, families and friends that came out to support and take part in this year's event. We also want to thank our sponsors: Running Unlimited, Steve Antman Insurance, Deerfield's Bakery and Dominick's.
*Note to age-group winners - Medals will be mailed in the next week. First place finishers in each age group will receive a $20 gift certificate from Running Unlimited in addition to their medal.
